Wellness Workshop (In-Person)
This 2-hour Wellness Workshop will take place at Osez Relaxer located in North Hatley, Quebec with a beautiful sunset view of Lac Massassippi. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended. Please note this event will be facilitated in English.
The workshop will be facilitated by Lila Danis and will use scientifically supported techniques for relaxation and nervous system regulation. The primary modalities used in this event will include: somatic therapy (gentle movement to support the mind-body connection), breathwork (to help calm and balance the nervous system) and guided meditation. Please note this event is designed for all experience levels and modifications will be demonstrated if a practice is not accessible to you.
Free Guided Practice
This virtual event will take place on Sunday, June 2nd from 2pm-3pm ET via Zoom and will include guided practice for all experience levels. Practices will incorporate techniques shown to support nervous system regulation; including: gentle movement, breathwork and guided meditation. If you are curious to learn more about modalities used in Grow Kind Mind’s wellness programs or are wanting to reconnect with your practice - this is an excellent opportunity.
For this event you will need:
- a device that connects to Zoom
- a space where you can participate in movement* (standing or seated) and be in stillness (seated or lying down)
- any items you would like for support (e.g. pillows, blankets, water)
*If any movement practice is unavailable to you, you will be encouraged to use visualization techniques or modified movements.

4-Week Mindfulness Plus Virtual Course
Update: registration for this program closes Sunday, March 3rd
This 4-week virtual program will start on Tuesday, March 5th from 6pm-8:30pm ET.
Classes will include somatic therapy (movement to support the mind-body connection), breathwork (to help support nervous system regulation), guided mindfulness-based meditation, and group discussion. This course is designed to be accessible for all experience levels.
The techniques used in this course have scientific support in reducing stress, anxiety and depression while improving sleep, happiness and our ability to connect and be present with others. This program will have a focus on integrating mindfulness into daily life with practices such as mindful eating, walking, seeing and communicating.
There will be an optional home-practice component that includes activities and recorded audio meditations to support the integration of techniques into your daily life. Video recordings of guided practice and facilitator-led portions of the course will be available for participants*.
Consider this program an opportunity to learn more tools to add to your self-care toolbox or supportive techniques for those considering psychedelic assisted therapy.
*Please note: for those wishing to participate, but unable to attend live due to scheduling or timezone limitations there is a self-paced recording option available (this will not include group discussions to protect the privacy of participants). Winter Solstice Workshop
The Winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night of the year. It is a celebration of the rebirth of the Sun's active cycle. It can be a time for naming our visions and dreams that we have been incubating in the darkest part of the year. With the return of the active outward energy that the sun brings our personal seeds, plans and ideas can slowly begin to manifest.
This 3-hour program will be co-facilitated virtually over Zoom by Lila Danis and Mandy Brinkley. The workshop will use a variety of wellness techniques to support you in getting clear on intentions you would like to start manifesting during the months ahead. The primary wellness tools used in this program will be:
Gentle Mindful Movement (standing, seated or visualized)
Guided Rest with Sound
Breathwork (to help calm and balance the nervous system)
Guided Visual Imagery Meditation
Art-Based Creative Integration Practice
Time for Self-Reflection & Group Discussion
A break will be integrated into this workshop and participants are encouraged to care for themselves throughout the session. Both facilitators are certified in multiple health and wellness modalities to support a wide range of client needs.
For this program you will need: a device that connects to Zoom, a space where you can practice movement and be in stillness (seated or lying down), blank white paper (e.g. computer paper), black marker (e.g. Sharpie or Crayola), colourful art supplies (e.g. pencil crayons or markers), a pen/something to write on, water and comfortable clothing.
This workshop will encourage cameras to be on. A recording of facilitator-led portions will be made available if you are unable to attend live.
* if movement/practices are not accessible to you (for mobility or other reasons), you will be guided and encouraged to adjust or modify components to include visualization or alternative options
Free Virtual Guided Practice
Lila Danis will be facilitating this free virtual event, designed for all experience levels, on Monday, October 2nd from 6:30-7:30pm ET. This class will include somatic therapy (gentle movement to support the mind-body connection), breathwork (to calm and regulate the nervous system) and a guided meditation. The techniques used in this session all have scientific evidence supporting stress reduction, nervous system regulation in addition to many other benefits. This is an excellent opportunity to discover new wellness practices or reconnect with practices you already know.
This class will begin with a brief discussion about self-care techniques you can use during guided practices. You will be encouraged to participate in your Window of Tolerance (discussed at start of program) and listen to your body.
Cameras on will be encouraged, but not mandatory. Please do not participate in this class while you are doing any activities requiring your full attention (e.g. driving or cooking).
For this event you will need:

a place you can practice gentle movement (standing or seated)* and be still (seated or lying down)*
any self-care/comfort items that may support you (e.g. pillows/blankets/water)

Fall Equinox: Release & Reset with Lila & Mandy
At the Equinoxes day and night are equal in length and from this Autumn turning point the darkness begins to grow. This is a potent time to clear up, release, to let go and to set seeds of intention for the months ahead.
This 3-hour program will be co-facilitated virtually over Zoom by Lila Danis and Mandy Brinkley. The focus of this program will be releasing and resetting using a variety of wellness techniques. The primary wellness tools used in this program will be breathwork, somatic therapy (including yoga nidra) and a guided visual imagery meditation. A break will be integrated into this workshop and participants are encouraged to care for themselves throughout the session. Both facilitators are certified in multiple health and wellness modalities to support a wide range of client needs.
For this program you will need: a device to connect to Zoom with, a space where you can practice movement and be in stillness (seated or lying down), a pen and something to write on, water and comfortable clothing.

8-Week Autumn Wellness Program
I view this course as an opportunity to invest in yourself and wellbeing. This 8-week wellness program will use techniques that have scientific support in reducing anxiety, depression, stress and improving sleep and everyday mindfulness.
The virtual program will run for eight weeks, starting Wednesday, September 13th through to Wednesday, November 1st 2023 from 6pm-8pm ET. Classes will include somatic therapy (movement to support the mind-body connection), breathwork (to help support nervous system regulation), guided meditation, group discussion and weekly activities to practice on your own time between classes to help integrate mindfulness and wellness techniques into everyday life.
This course will require cameras to be on and recordings of instructor-led portions of the class (practices and teaching) will be made available to participants if a class is missed.
I have had the pleasure of designing this type of programming for private clients and would love to make it accessible for a wider population of people.
